With Aleksandra Idzior – UFV

The creative effort often includes the inspired selection and manipulation of existing material. The use of appropriation has played an important role in the history of the arts. We will discuss visual artists who were motivated by art made by somebody else, and we will address such concepts as copy, homage, pastiche, recycle, forgery, and plagiarism.
