Here’s an alternative to those heavy, over-filled family albums: learn how to make an electronic album of family photos in PowerPoint. You can share your PowerPoint photo album with faraway relatives, add names, dates, descriptions, maps and any other important information that tells your family’s stories.

Here’s what you need to bring: at least 10 photos, but the more the better. Your photos can be originals, or scanned and saved on a CD or a flash drive (sometimes called a stick, a USB drive or a thumb drive). Flash drives are cheap and available wherever computers are sold. If you bring photocopies, make sure they are good-quality laser copies.
