Guided Coqualeetza Grounds Tour

Discover the culture, traditions, history with one of our cultural education guides, learn about art, plants, collections and language of the Stó:lō people. Step into the Coqualeetza Longhouse and be welcomed with traditional drumming and song. Explore the Stó:lō Resource Centre and learn about the authentic Coast Salish basket and archaeological collections including Man Turned to Stone: T’xwelátse.


Visit the newly renovated Stó:lō Interpretive Centre for educational exhibits, stone collections, Sepass traditional war canoe, woven shawls, cedar baskets, dip net fishing traditions and more. Be sure to browse the Stó:lō Gift Shop for local and provincial Aboriginal artisan products, featuring our own award winning Nations Creations, locally manufacturing and supporting local artists and producing top quality gift products, t-shirts, hoodies and household items.

Meet at LLCS office and bus departure at stated time.

For all bus tours, pre-register early.

Lunch or dinner is not included, dining out options always available. Unless otherwise indicated.

Wear good walking shoes, bring a camera and dress for the weather.

Fee includes bus trip and tickets, admissions or concert tickets. Lunches or dinners are extra.

Cancelation Policy

A full refund will be provided up to 5 working days before the bus tour. After that time, a substitute participant is allowed, or credit for LTLC will be issued
